Produce and Air Your Own TV Show
Muscatine Community College (MCC) and MPW Digital TV
developed the Muscatine Community Television Access Center
(MCTAC) for the purpose of allowing individuals and organizations
to produce programming for MPW Public Access Channel 9. The
objective of MPW Public Access is to strengthen our community
by increasing and enhancing communication among community
residents. MPW Public Access provides community members with
a non-commercial forum for ideas, information, and creative
expression originating at the grass roots level.
Studio Facilities at MCC
MPW Digital TV offers access to studio facilities at the Muscatine Community College for those interested in producing a show for public access nine. The studio features Three Camera Live Switching, Graphics, Professional Grid Lighting, Audio Mixing/Recording, Stage Platforms, and even room for a small studio audience. MCTAC staff
will teach you how to use all the equipment needed to produce
your very own television show including the camera, lights,
and editing equipment. MCTAC will then schedule your program
to run on MPW Public Access.

Submit a Pre-Produced Program
If you already have a program that you would like to share with the MPW Digital TV community, you can simply submit it to the MCC Video Department to be aired on Channel 9. The program must adhere to the submission guidelines and be submitted with a completed "Producer's Agreement" which acknowledges the producer's responsibility for content. Programs can be dropped off to the Muscatine Community College Student Center Information Office, Monday - Friday from 8AM - 6:30PM or directly to the MCC Video Department in Larson Hall.
Post
a Public Service Announcement
MPW Public Access also offers a community bulletin board where
non-profit community groups, government departments and educational
institutions can submit event announcements. All announcements
must be non-commercial in nature and need to be e-mailed,
faxed or mailed to the MPW Studio Manager.
